Margaret Dawson - Tenerife -1787

3rd June,1787

Ello its me Margaret Dawson again, right now i am in Tenerife, the conditions to get here were horrible, this is how it went. I had to spend 21 days on this blooming ship which was crazy stinky. One of the other older convicts said it was 3500km.The conditions on the ship were hot, humid there were dead rodents and lots of storms. I am very crampt because I had to sleep in a small hamock with THREE people but lukily I am in the middle so I won't fall of when the ship sways. Thank goodnes that the weather was sunny for the last week because I haven't eaten properly in FOUR days because we are not given much food in the bad weather wich was most of the way.Athur Pillip wants us to stay alive so we got fresh food a vegies. I hope the rest of the journey will be better!

See ya Slater
